RingCentral pricing: the real cost for a 10-200 seat office (2026)
RingCentral's real entry price for a 10-200 seat office is Premium in the UK, £24.99 or £28.99 a user a month, or Advanced in the US, $25 billed annually or $35 monthly (checked Sep 2026). The headline tiers, UK Essentials (£12.99) and US Core ($20), have no CRM integration. Don't buy if you may leave mid-contract, or you're a UK office under 20 seats that needs unlimited calls.

Disclosure: As of 12 October 2026 we have no affiliate or referral deal with RingCentral. RingCentral hasn't seen this page or paid for it. We don't sell a phone system. We plan to earn referral commission from phone providers in future. If that changes for RingCentral, this line will say so.
Last updated: 12 October 2026. Prices come from ringcentral.com's US and UK pricing pages (checked 27 September 2026), RingCentral's US terms of service (last updated 4 August 2025), its UK numbering policy and its support documents. Every total, difference and percentage on this page is our own arithmetic on those prices.

What you actually get
Read this before you use the table
- UK: which price is annual? The UK page has a "pay annually" toggle. The lower figure is the annual price, the higher is monthly.
- US: the prices are for 1-5 users. RingCentral's US page has a user-count selector (1-5, 6-100, 100+). Only the 1-5 prices loaded for us. If you have 10-50 staff, your bracket is 6-100, and we don't know its price. Every US total below uses the 1-5 price, because it's the only one RingCentral showed.
- Ultra: RingCentral's own site shows no current price for Ultra. Only a footnote exists.
- Tax: US prices exclude federal, 911 and state fees. Whether UK prices include VAT is not stated.

- Essentials is a phone line, not an office system. No CRM, no Microsoft 365 or Slack, no call recording, 100 minutes per user.
- Assume CRM means Premium. RingCentral's UK comparison table ticks CRM on Standard. Its plan cards list it only under Premium. Budget for Premium until RingCentral confirms Standard in writing.
- Under 20 seats, no UK tier is unlimited. At 20 or more, unlimited EMEA-zone calling becomes possible on Standard and above. Ask for it to be written into your quote.

The real cost
The two traps, priced
Trap 1: CRM forces a higher tier. In the UK, CRM is on Premium, not Essentials. In the US, it's on Advanced, not Core.
Trap 2: UK minutes are capped. Essentials gives each user 100 outbound minutes a month. That's under five minutes a working day. If your staff spend real time on the phone, you need Standard at least, even without a CRM.
| Trap | Headline | Real floor | Extra per user per month | Extra vs headline | Extra per year: 10 / 25 / 50 seats |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| UK, needs CRM (annual) | Essentials £12.99 | Premium £24.99 | £12.00 | +92% | £1,440 / £3,600 / £7,200 |
| UK, needs CRM (monthly) | Essentials £17.99 | Premium £28.99 | £11.00 | +61% | £1,320 / £3,300 / £6,600 |
| UK, needs minutes only (annual) | Essentials £12.99 | Standard £19.99 | £7.00 | +54% | £840 / £2,100 / £4,200 |
| UK, needs minutes only (monthly) | Essentials £17.99 | Standard £23.99 | £6.00 | +33% | £720 / £1,800 / £3,600 |
| US, needs CRM (annual) | Core $20 | Advanced $25 | $5 | +25% | $600 / $1,500 / $3,000 |
| US, needs CRM (monthly) | Core $30 | Advanced $35 | $5 | +17% | $600 / $1,500 / $3,000 |
How we worked it, using the first row: £24.99 minus £12.99 is £12.00 a user a month. £12.00 divided by £12.99 is 0.92, so 92% more than the headline. £12.00 x 12 months is £144 a user a year. £144 x 10 seats is £1,440.
So the honest UK answer to "how much does RingCentral cost?" is close to double the headline price, once you need a CRM. In the US, it's a quarter more.
UK vs US total cost, side by side
Total list price for the tier we'd pick and the headline tier. Formula: price per user per month x seats x months (checked Sep 2026). US totals use the 1-5 user price (see above). Totals exclude US taxes and fees. UK VAT treatment is unknown.
| Seats | Period | UK Premium (our pick) | UK Essentials (headline) | US Advanced (our pick) | US Core (headline) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 10 | 12 months, annual price | £2,998.80 | £1,558.80 | $3,000 | $2,400 |
| 10 | 12 months, monthly price | £3,478.80 | £2,158.80 | $4,200 | $3,600 |
| 10 | 36 months, annual price | £8,996.40 | £4,676.40 | $9,000 | $7,200 |
| 25 | 12 months, annual price | £7,497.00 | £3,897.00 | $7,500 | $6,000 |
| 25 | 12 months, monthly price | £8,697.00 | £5,397.00 | $10,500 | $9,000 |
| 25 | 36 months, annual price | £22,491.00 | £11,691.00 | $22,500 | $18,000 |
| 50 | 12 months, annual price | £14,994.00 | £7,794.00 | $15,000 | $12,000 |
| 50 | 12 months, monthly price | £17,394.00 | £10,794.00 | $21,000 | $18,000 |
| 50 | 36 months, annual price | £44,982.00 | £23,382.00 | $45,000 | $36,000 |
Worked example, 25 seats on UK Premium for 12 months at the annual price: £24.99 x 25 seats = £624.75 a month. £624.75 x 12 = £7,497.00.
- UK Premium and US Advanced land on almost the same number, in different currencies. £24.99 against $25. We haven't converted currencies, because exchange rates move and RingCentral sets each price separately.
- The billing gap is bigger in the US. Paying monthly on US Advanced adds $10 a user a month: $1,200 a year at 10 seats, $6,000 at 50. On UK Premium the gap between the two prices is £4.00: £480 a year at 10 seats, £2,400 at 50.
- The 36-month rows assume today's price holds. RingCentral's US terms let it raise prices at renewal with 30 days' notice. Nothing we found fixes the price for three years.
- If UK prices turn out to exclude VAT, add the 20% UK standard rate. For 10 seats on Premium at the annual price, that's £2,998.80 to £3,598.56 a year. A VAT-registered business can normally reclaim it.
What leaving early costs
RingCentral's US terms (last updated 4 August 2025) say that if you end the contract early, you must "pay within thirty (30) days of such termination all amounts that have accrued prior to such termination, as well as all sums remaining unpaid for the Services for the remainder of the then-current Term."
In plain English: you pay for every month left on the contract. Here's what that means on US Advanced at the $25 list price (checked Sep 2026):
| Scenario | Months left | Per user | 10 seats | 25 seats | 50 seats |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 12-month term, cancel after 3 months | 9 | $225 (9 x $25) | $2,250 | $5,625 | $11,250 |
| 12-month term, cancel after 6 months | 6 | $150 (6 x $25) | $1,500 | $3,750 | $7,500 |
| 36-month term, cancel after 12 months | 24 | $600 (24 x $25) | $6,000 | $15,000 | $30,000 |
- Your term length is in your order form, not the terms. The terms say the contract runs "for the initial term set forth in the initial Order". We use 12 and 36 months as examples. If you rent desk phones, RingCentral requires a multi-year contract, so the 36-month row is the one to look at.
- Whether you've already paid it depends on your invoice. If you paid the year upfront, those months are money already spent. If you're invoiced in instalments, the terms make the balance due within 30 days. Either way, it's the same amount.
- We don't know if monthly billing means a monthly contract. If it does, leaving costs at most the current month. RingCentral's terms don't say. Ask before you sign.
UK: we can't cost this. RingCentral's UK terms page returned an error when we checked. If your UK contract has the same clause, the same 3-months-in example on Premium at the annual price would be 9 x £24.99 = £224.91 per user. Get the UK early-exit clause in writing before you sign.
Everything outside the headline price, worst first (checked Sep 2026)
- The cheap tier doesn't do the job. Covered above. For most offices this is the biggest hidden cost: £11-£12 a user a month in the UK, $5 in the US.
- Leaving early. You owe the rest of the term. Costed above.
- Automatic renewal. The contract renews for the same length again unless you give notice at least 30 days before it ends. RingCentral only has to warn you of a price rise 30 days before the term ends. Put the notice date in your diary on day one.
- US taxes and fees. RingCentral says the "Federal Universal Service Recovery Fee, E911 Service Fee, Compliance and Administrative Cost Recovery Fee, 911 Fee, and State and Local Taxes, may apply." It doesn't say how much. Other pricing guides publish a percentage. RingCentral doesn't, so we don't either.
- Mobile User extensions. Adding one is free. If it's used to make or receive calls in a month, you're charged for it "at the same rate per month as you are charged for Digital Lines." In other words, a full seat.
- Desk-phone rental locks you in. "Phone rental available only with multi-year contract", in both the US and UK. We didn't check purchase prices.
- Calls outside the plan. US "unlimited" covers the US and Canada only. Other countries are charged at RingCentral's international rates. UK tiers have the minute caps above.
- Losing your UK numbers. RingCentral's UK numbering policy says numbers not yet moved to another provider "may be released" when an account is cancelled. Move your numbers out before you cancel.
- Add-ons. US: extra local number $4.99/month, extra toll-free number $4.99/month, vanity number $30 one-time + $4.99/month, international toll-free $14.99/user/month + $25 one-time, Call Queues Booster $35, Business SMS Booster $25, AI Receptionist from $39, Conversational Intelligence from $60, RingCX from $65/user. UK: extra local number from £2/month, extra non-geographic number £2/month, international free-phone from £9.99/month + £16.99 one-time, Call Queues Booster £28/month. US texting also needs TCR registration (a US carrier sign-up for business texting), and additional TCR fees may apply.
- What costs nothing: RingCentral pays the cost of moving your number in. It charges no fee to move your number out, though your new provider might. US plans include professional implementation for two users and above.
- What we couldn't verify: the US price for 6-100 and 100+ users (only the 1-5 price loaded), whether UK prices include VAT, whether monthly billing means a month-to-month contract, UK early-exit and renewal terms (the UK terms page returned an error), any setup or activation fee, desk-phone purchase prices, Ultra's price, and how long porting takes in the UK (RingCentral's own documents say both 5-10 and 15-30 business days — plan for 30).
How this compares
RingCentral at least tells you its price. 8x8, the provider it's most often compared with, shows no self-serve price anywhere on its own pricing page: every product card leads to "Chat with Sales" or "Request a Quote" (checked Sep 2026). That transparency is part of what you're paying for. You can build a budget from this page and hold a quote to it.
FAQ
How much does RingCentral cost per user?
For an office that uses a CRM: £24.99 or £28.99 a user a month on UK Premium, depending on billing, or $25 a user a month billed annually on US Advanced, $35 billed monthly (checked Sep 2026). The £12.99 and $20 headline tiers don't include CRM integration. US prices shown are for 1-5 users.
Does RingCentral have a free trial?
Yes, in the UK. RingCentral's UK pricing page says the "trial is limited to a maximum of five users and two desktop phones" with "50 minutes of domestic calls per user" (checked Sep 2026). That's enough to test call quality, not to run a 25-person office on it. We didn't check US trial terms.
Can I cancel RingCentral early?
Yes, but under RingCentral's US terms you pay for the rest of the term. Cancel a 12-month Advanced contract after three months and you owe nine more months: $225 per user, or $2,250 for 10 seats, at the $25 list price (checked Sep 2026). We couldn't check the UK terms.
Is RingCentral cheaper monthly or annually?
Annually. In the US, monthly billing costs 50% more on Core ($30 against $20) and 40% more on Advanced ($35 against $25) (checked Sep 2026). In the UK, monthly is 13% to 38% above annual, depending on tier: £4.00 a month more on Premium, £5.00 on Essentials.
Is RingCentral Ultra still available?
RingCentral's own site shows no current price for Ultra. Only a footnote exists.
